Overview
The driver will receive the app link as soon as the load is assigned to them. The app link will be sent via SMS.
If you are a TMS user, the app link is sent when you add a driver in your TMS and any custom conditions that are setup for your TMS implementations are met. Custom conditions are conditions such as "Only create a load in Chain if the load status is Dispatched in my TMS".
If you create a load in Chain directly, the app link is sent when you assign a driver to the load. Open the load > Under 'drivers', enter the driver's cell phone number.
What does the message look like?
The text message to the driver will include the person's name of the person who assigned the driver (whether from the TMS or on Chain), along with your company name and the load number. The message will also include a link to download the app.
What is the link to download the Chain driver app?
The link will always be the same for iPhone and Android:

When this link is clicked on a mobile phone, it will redirect the driver to the Chain Driver app in the App Store or Google Play Store. If the driver already has the app installed, the app will open.
What happens when the driver clicks on the link?
The driver is automatically directed to the Chain Driver app in the App Store or Google Play Store. If the driver already has the app installed, the app will open.
The driver can then download the app and log in with their Chain credentials.
