_Release window: May 1, 2026 to May 31, 2026_
New features
Added guided driver document capture for supplemental verification documents, including Cab Card, Truck VIN, Truck License Plate, and Trailer License Plate. Drivers can capture, preview, retake, and upload required documents directly from the Driver App while their verification status updates.
Added device trust checks for driver app logins and mobile tracking sources. Shipment tracking can now surface verified, degraded, or unverified device status and flag suspicious device behavior during active tracking.
Added a per-shipment Autopilot control in shipment chat. Teams can pause or resume checkpoints and auto-responses for a single shipment without turning off automation for the whole workspace.
Added public tracking links for ocean containers. Workspace users can share a read-only container tracking page with customers, including container milestones, vessel details, ports, and status.
Added new ELD and tracking provider options, including RouteMate, Swift ELD, Safe Lane, Highway links, QuickManage links, and UsPowerELD links. These additions give carriers more ways to connect live tracking into Chain.
Added Rose Rocket TMS setup support. Teams can create the initial authorization details, add credentials later, and view shipment and carrier connection details during setup.
Added a booking conversations dashboard and AI activity feed. Broker admins can filter booking conversations and expand activity entries to see the reasoning behind agent actions such as proposals, counters, acceptances, declines, and escalations.
Added workspace Tracking Access controls with Allow only these and Block these tabs. Teams can manage tracking access with bulk entry, per-row validation, and separate controls for allowlists and blocklists.
Added a manual Request location action for mobile app tracking sources. Dispatchers can request a fresh driver location from the shipment tracking row when mobile tracking has gone stale.
Improvements
Added booking-agent Outlook mailbox management to the Booking Agent setup page. Users can see, connect, and disconnect the mailbox used for booking-agent email replies without leaving the booking-agent settings flow.
Improved booking-agent carrier suggestions and rate handling. Booking workflows now use lane contracts, contracted carrier rates, customer TMS IDs, carrier context, and clearer offer email formatting in more places.
Added a light and dark mode toggle to the embedded map view and improved route and checkpoint contrast in dark mode. Embedded tracking maps now give users clearer theme control and more visible route details.
Improved address, map, and date-time inputs. Address autocomplete now uses the active Google Maps session, date-time fields have responsive 12-hour inputs, and map style changes no longer remount the full map.
Moved the "Re-run on re-match" control under Trigger in Tracking Checkpoints. The setting now appears with the related trigger controls where teams configure checkpoint behavior.
Added and refined fraud notification controls. Workspace admins can manage fraud-related notifications, and tracking rows show a compact Potential fraud detected tag for actionable signals.
Improved geofence activity log entries. Geofence-triggered stop events can now show the tracking source, such as Mobile App, ELD, Tive Device, or External Tracking Link.
Improved Driver App verification code handling. Drivers now get a single resend action with an initial 30-second cooldown, and the app better handles a corrected code after an incorrect attempt.
Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where dispatcher phone or email verification could show the wrong verification state. Verification updates and resend behavior should now reflect the latest contact details more reliably.
Fixed date and time input editing issues. Users should be able to type and adjust hour, minute, and date values more reliably.
Fixed an issue where assigned drivers could see stop-level reference details that should not be shown in the Driver App. Driver shipment views now keep those stop details limited to the intended audience.
Fixed carrier-visible shipment location redaction before tracking starts. Carrier views now hide origin, destination, stop, and last-location details until the shipment reaches the intended tracking state.
Fixed FCFS appointment-window classification. First-come-first-serve stops with a valid appointment window can now be classified as before, within, or after the window instead of unknown.
Fixed Canadian address geocoding edge cases. Canadian stops with valid address matches are less likely to lose coordinates, map pins, routing, and ETA support.
Fixed booking conversation email reply handling. Booking replies and audit updates should continue after email-provider responses are stored.
Fixed HOS247 enablement so setup collects company ID, username, and password together. Users now receive clearer credential or company ID error messaging during setup.
Behind the scenes
Strengthened device attestation, device-swap detection, fraud review, security updates, and deployment validation. These changes improve reliability, security, and release quality without requiring customer action.
