What you see after onboarding: your shipments page

Overview

After you complete onboarding, Chain takes you to My > Shipments. This is your personal shipments page, where you can review the shipments connected to you, narrow the list, and open shipment details when you need to take action.

Before you begin

  • Sign in and finish onboarding.

  • Make sure your account has access to at least one workspace.

  • Shipments appear here based on your assignment and workspace access.

Screen 1: Review the top of the page

  1. Use Search shipments... to find a shipment by the details you know.

  2. Select + Filter to narrow the list by status, pickup, dropoff, tracking, or workspace.

  3. Select Sort to change how the list is ordered.

  4. Use Active and Closed to switch between current and past shipments.

  5. If your account can start a shipment from this page, select Create Shipment.

Screen 2: Review your shipment results

  1. Use Table View when you want to scan shipments in a list.

  2. Switch to Map View when you want to review shipments visually on a map.

  3. Select a shipment from the list to open its details.

  4. Use Previous and Next at the bottom of the page to move through more results.

What happens next

When you open a shipment, Chain takes you to the shipment details page so you can review status, messages, and the rest of the shipment record. If there are no shipments in your current view, Chain shows an empty state instead of a table or map.

Business rules and important details

  • My > Shipments is your personal shipments view. It is different from the workspace-wide shipments page.

  • The Active tab shows current shipments. The Closed tab shows delivered, canceled, or expired shipments.

  • If you do not have workspace access yet, you may see No workspaces found.

  • If you have workspace access but no shipments are available in your current view, you may see No shipments found.

  • The filters available on this page can vary based on your access and the workspaces connected to your account.

Troubleshooting

I see No shipments found.

This usually means there are no shipments assigned to you in the current view, or your current tab, search, or filters are narrowing the results.

Try this:

  1. Switch between Active and Closed.

  2. Clear your search and any filters.

  3. Check the Workspaces filter if you belong to more than one workspace.

  4. Refresh the page after a teammate creates a shipment or assigns one to you.

I see No workspaces found.

This means your account is not connected to a workspace yet.

Try this:

  1. Select Create Workspace if you are setting up your own workspace.

  2. If you expected to join an existing workspace, check that you accepted the invite with the same email address or phone number you used to sign in.

FAQs

Why do I only see some shipments here?

This page shows the shipments connected to you. It does not automatically show every shipment in every workspace.

Can I create a shipment from this page?

If your account has workspace access and shipment creation is available to you on this page, you can select Create Shipment.

Why do I not see shipments from another workspace?

Use the Workspaces filter if you belong to more than one workspace. If a workspace is not available there, your current account may not have access to it.
