Use this setup to connect your Infios TMS workspace to Chain so shipment and tracking-related information can sync correctly.
Use it when you are onboarding Infios for the first time or when you need to re-check Infios credentials and your Chain API token.
Overview
This guide is organized by screen so you can complete setup page by page.
Before you begin
Access to Settings and Apps in your Chain workspace.
Infios credentials from your Infios support team: API URL, API username, API password, and Receiver ID.
A contact at Infios who can complete the final Infios-side setup using your Chain API token.
Keep credentials and API tokens private. Use the correct Infios environment URL (for example, production vs sandbox).
Enable Infios by screen
Screen 1: Open the Infios app setup page
Sign in to Chain.
Open your workspace.
Go to Settings > Apps.
Find Infios in the app list.
Click Enable.
Screen 2: Enter Infios credentials
In Enable Infios for Chain, enter Infios API URL.
Enter API Username.
Enter API Password.
Enter Receiver ID.
Click Enable.
Screen 3: Generate and copy your Chain API token
After credentials are accepted, the API key screen opens.
Click Generate Key if no token is shown yet.
Copy the Chain API Token.
Share this token with your Infios support team and ask them to use it in the required authentication header for the integration.
Screen 4: Confirm app status
Return to the Apps page.
Confirm Infios is enabled.
If needed, use Update on the Infios app card to reopen the token modal and copy the token.
What happens next
Infios is saved as enabled in your workspace.
After Infios finishes their side of setup, data starts syncing between Infios and Chain.
You usually only need to update credentials again if they change.
Business rules and important details
All four fields are required: API URL, API username, API password, and Receiver ID.
The API URL is saved in a secure normalized format.
The API token is generated in Chain and must be shared securely.
If a token already exists, you may see the existing token instead of a Generate Key action.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find Infios in Apps
Confirm you are in the correct workspace and your role has access to workspace app settings.
I cannot enable Infios
Re-check API URL, username, password, and Receiver ID with your Infios support team.
I see a generic error when saving
Try again, then contact support if it persists.
I cannot generate or copy the API token
Close and reopen the Infios setup, then retry. If it still fails, contact support.
Infios is enabled but data is not syncing
Confirm Infios support completed their side of setup using the Chain API token.
