1. Get to know Chaine's posts

Understanding what a post is

In Chaine, a 'Post' is the fundamental element around which the entire booking process revolves. It's just a load that needs to be shipped, and it contains all of the essential details that carriers need to know to decide whether they can take up the job. Let's dive into what a Chaine Post is and its features.

Dive into all the ways you can create a post

Posts can be created manually inside of Chaine, or through your TMS integration. To understand more about these methods, refer to the below guides:

Where to see posts

2. Learn about your workspace's Carrier Hub

Each workspace will have its own white-labeled Carrier Hub. Find out all about how this works in our article here.

3. Getting your carriers to make offers

Now that you’re up to speed on all things related to posts, you’re ready to start receiving offers! There are many ways for carriers to find out about your posts and make offers. We make it super easy depending on the use case:

  • Using your Carrier Hub with external load boards

    • Your company can post their loads on their preferred load board with the post's unique URL, and funnel the inbound offers into your Carrier Hub. To learn more about how this works, see our article here.

  • Promote your workspace's Carrier Hub within your carrier network

    • To effectively promote your workspace's Carrier Hub within your carrier network, consider adding your workspace's Carrier Hub URL to your website and company email signature. For bookings through a specific email, use an auto-reply rule to direct carriers to your load board. For more details, see our related article here.

  • Send posts to your network of trusted carriers

    • You can easily send posts to your network of trusted carriers so that they can make offers using our broadcast feature, which is explained in our article here.

    • You can also feel free to copy a link to a post and share the link directly with a carrier.

4. Managing offers

Now that you are ready to start receiving offers, let's make sure that you know how to manage them! You can learn all about managing offers in our article here.

5. Understand how notifications work

The last thing that you will need to understand before you get started is how notifications work for both you and your carriers:
