Level 1 - Set up your Chain account
1. Sign up or log in (Total time: 2 minutes)
Visit chaineapp.com/login and create your account, then enter your professional details as you want them displayed to others.
2. Upload an avatar (Total time: 1 minute)
Uploading a happy, smiley avatar lets your colleagues and other companies you work with know that there's a real person at the other end of the messenger.

3. Update notification settings (Total time: 1 minute)
Enable browser notifications to stay updated when you get new messages. Click the 'Enable Desktop Notifications' button in the banner at the bottom of your screen.
4. Update your display Preferences (Total time: 1 second?)
Choose between Light and Dark mode with the toggle at the top. Your preference is saved automatically.
Level 2 - Build on the basics
1. Get started with your team (Total time: 3 minutes)
If you would like to add your team members to your workspace, refer to our Adding a team member guide.
2. Verify your workspaces (for integrated workspaces only) (Total time: 2 minutes)
Click your avatar at the top right of the screen, and make sure you are in the expected workspaces.
3. Verify your shipments (for integrated workspaces only) (Total time: 10 minutes)
If you plan to use Chain's tracking functionality, verify your assigned loads in the Tracking section, under 'Assigned to me'. If you plan to use Chain's booking functionality, verify your assigned loads in the Posts section, under 'My posts'.
4. Get to know your workspace (Total time: 10 minutes)
Get a tour of your workspace, and the key areas. Brokers can refer to this video.
Advanced Features and Resources
Monitor Shipments: Regularly check that shipments are syncing as expected within the 2 weeks after you go live.
Workspace Branding: Customize your workspace with a logo for brand consistency.
Integrations: Explore and enable integrations in the app section, accessing Chain's marketplace of third-party apps.
