To use an AI email on your loadboard postings, you can connect an email from outlook from your own domain.
1. Create a new outlook email user and connect it to Chain
Create a new email user (like loads@yourcompanydomain.com)
NOTE: this user must have the appropriate permissions, or else your outlook account will not allow this user to connect in the next step. Then click "Connect with Outlook" under Workspace > Settings > Email Configurations
Then login with the new user you created
Make sure you don't use your own personal email for this setup, and that you create a single email. If you have multiple workspaces, you can create one email on the enterprise to use on all workspaces.
If you get an "Approval required", fill out the reason and click "Request approval". Please notify the Outlook Admin at your company and refer them to the Admin Approval docs below.
2. Add this email on your loadboard account
This email is to be used as the secondary email on your DAT/Truckstop account for load postings. You can access your settings in your Loadboard to set up this email.
Once you do this, when carriers email this email on your load postings, our AI will automatically collect the offers and direct them under your loads under "Booking" inside of Chain.
Admin Approval
This section is for Outlook Admins who have access to Microsoft's Entra admin center.
For you to be able to use the Outlook integration, your Consent and permissions for Enterprise applications must either use Microsoft managed consent settings or have a list of permissions (shown below) enabled.
To verify this, do the following:
On the left side menu, select Enterprise apps and then select Consent and permissions
If you have "Let Microsoft manage your consent settings (Recommended)" selected, then proceed to Approving Admin Consents
Under Admin consent settings, you must have the two following settings:
If you have the middle option, "Allow user consent for apps from verified publishers, for selected permissions", selected, you must have the below permissions added under Permission classifications
If either of these options are set, then you simply have to give the Admin Consent shown in the next section
Approving Admin Consents
If your organization requires Admin Consent for enterprise apps, this will show you how to approve those consent requests.
Click Enterprise apps
Under Activity > Admin consent requests
You should see the Chain Outlook API Integration app under My Pending
If you don't see anything under My Pending, navigate to All (Preview)
Click the Chain Outlook API Integration app name and it will open a side-panel. Click Review permissions and consent
It will take you to the login, and then simply click Accept
IMPORTANT: You must be listed as a user that is allowed to approve apps. See steps under Admin Consent if you do not see the below page.
βOnce this is done, you should see an Approval status under the Requested by tab
Once this is done, please have the user requesting the Admin Consent go back to the Connect with outlook setup steps listed above
