Step 1: Open the API page in EldPeak
Sign in to EldPeak, then use the left-side menu and click API.
Step 2: Create a new API key
On the API page:
Click + Add API Key
In API Name, enter Chain
Click Confirm
(Optional) Enable Read-Only if your team requires it.
Step 3: Copy the API key
In the API list, click the API key value to copy it.
Step 4: Paste the key into Chain
In Chain:
Go to Apps
Open EldPeak
Paste the API key
Click Enable
Troubleshooting
I don’t see “API” in EldPeak: Your user may not have admin/API permissions. Contact your EldPeak admin.
“Invalid API key” in Chain: Regenerate a new key in EldPeak and copy/paste again (avoid extra spaces).
Key stopped working: Create a new key and update it in Chain.
Security best practices
Create a dedicated key named Chain.
Share keys only with authorized admins.
