Step 1: Open the API page in EldPeak

Sign in to EldPeak, then use the left-side menu and click API.

Step 2: Create a new API key

On the API page:

  1. Click + Add API Key

  1. In API Name, enter Chain

  1. Click Confirm

(Optional) Enable Read-Only if your team requires it.

Step 3: Copy the API key

In the API list, click the API key value to copy it.

Step 4: Paste the key into Chain

In Chain:

  1. Go to Apps

  2. Open EldPeak

  3. Paste the API key

  4. Click Enable

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see “API” in EldPeak: Your user may not have admin/API permissions. Contact your EldPeak admin.

  • “Invalid API key” in Chain: Regenerate a new key in EldPeak and copy/paste again (avoid extra spaces).

  • Key stopped working: Create a new key and update it in Chain.

Security best practices

  • Create a dedicated key named Chain.

  • Share keys only with authorized admins.
