Before enabling Verizon Connect (Reveal) integration on Chain, the carrier must first add Chain as an API integration within their Verizon Connect (Reveal) portal.
How to Add Chain as an API Integration
Carrier needs to login first your their Verizon Connect (Reveal) Protel. Once you logged in you will see in the upper right corner of the screen, click your user icon, and then select "Marketplace".
Log in to your Verizon Connect (Reveal) portal.
Once logged in, locate your user icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Click the user icon and select Marketplace from the dropdown menu.
In the top navigation menu, click API Integrations.
Click GET STARTED.
In the data access form, complete all the fields:
Third-party company name: Chain
Integration name: Chain App
Developer name: Chain
Developer email: dev-support@trychain.comRead the Data Access Consent Form.
To authorize Verizon Connect to give the third-party company and developer access to your data, select the check box.
Click NEXT.
Review your details. To amend, click CHANGE
Click CONFIRM REQUEST
Once your request has been submitted, an email containing the integration user credentials will be sent to Chain. You will also receive an email with the integration username and password.
Use the provided integration credentials to configure and connect your Verizon Connect (Reveal) ELD account in Chain. https://app.trychain.com/carrier-onboarding
Once you have completed all the steps above, please send an email to support@trychain.com with your DOT Number and the name of your ELD provider.
Our team will then complete the setup and activate the integration on the Chain platform.
